Been meaning to homage a mecha for a while now. I have 2 in mind. First is this one, based on the Evas of Evangelion. Just so you guys know, I hate evangelion. I hate how protentious it is, I hate the characters, i hate the focus on teen angst instead of giant robots beating the shit out of aliens. But I like the eva designs. That's it.

Signiture move: Break attack (Steel 10pp pwr 90) The user rushes at the enemy, shattering through a foes defences. This moves power is doubled if the foe is using a protection move. (Protect, detect etc) or barrier moves (Barrier, lightscreen etc)
This pokemon can spend days, even weeks completely motionless and silent. But the minute a threat comes within range it strikes savagely, ripping it's foe to pieces in a loud and manic rampage, before returning to it's motionless state.
