Ok, to challenge myself, I came up with 3 evos for the Monkey trio of Gen 5. Each one based on a different Ape.

Gorilasage is based on a silverback gorilla

Gorilasear is based on a Bornean Orangutang

and Gorilapour is based on siamang

Signiture move: Congo Crusher (Grass 150pwr 5pp) The user hurls itself at the foe and pounds them wildly with it's fists. The user takes 1/3 of the damage as recoil.

Having grown much larger, they are capable of delivering powerful punches with it's mighty fists, strong enough to smash huge jungle trees down in a single blow. They can also leap huge bounds with their powerful legs

Signiture move: Hot sleep (Fire -status- 20pp) The user goes to sleep for 2 turns and recovers half of it's HP) If the foe makes contact with the user while they're asleep, they will suffer a burn.

Gorilasear are Lazy pokemon, Often staying in a single location most of the time. They use their long arms to swing through trees if it absolutely has to move though, as it dislikes walking. Areas these pokemon dwell are heated much higher than normal due to this pokemon's presence alone.

Signiture move: Cold Shower (Water 80pwr 15pp) The user shoots freezing water at the target. It may also freeze them.

Gorilapour love to dance, and will do so whenever they hear a good rythem. The sack on their neck can store and heat water to boiling temperatures, but it can easily drop it to freezing temperatures too.
