Meet Scizor, a mysterious entity NPC that strolls through streets at night, stalking those that are suffering in order to make deals with them, she solves their problems causing their suffering in exchange for their heartstrings. She usually just takes them away thus leaving the person empty and devoid of feeling, so while unfavourable it's technically what the deal entailed.

in the case of the main party, she can provide the player with a hint/sollution to a future puzzle in the game for the cost of half the party's health. Finding her is tricky enough and the deal can only be made once per visiting.
